Year in Review: Jerger Focuses on Modernization and Looks Ahead with Confidence
Despite an ongoing challenging market environment, Joh. Nep. Jerger GmbH & Co. KG looks back on the past year with satisfaction regarding its order situation. “The overall conditions were far from easy – which makes it all the more encouraging that we were able to maintain a stable level of capacity utilization,” the management team emphasizes.
The year was largely defined by comprehensive modernization initiatives. A key milestone was the implementation of a new ERP system, designed to create greater transparency, streamline coordination processes, and significantly increase operational efficiency. In addition, a long-planned major project was successfully completed: the expansion of both production and administrative facilities. This investment provides a strong foundation for further optimizing production workflows and sustainably strengthening internal structures.
The objective behind these investments is clear:
To ensure that the company remains well positioned for the future. While discussions surrounding Germany as a production location and the associated challenges continue and are expected to bring increased demands in the year ahead, Jerger remains optimistic. This confidence is rooted above all in the company’s dedicated workforce – a strong foundation the management team views with pride and deep appreciation. This appreciation is also reflected in Jerger’s lived leadership culture. Each year, long-serving employees are honored for their loyalty and commitment – a tradition that was continued again this year.
